On this page you are seeing Night Lights I have turned out of Alabaster stone on my lathe. The stone comes in many different colors and shades. All of these light are between 3 1/2" to 5" tall and 3" to 4"1/2" across. Each one is unique. Even if I turn the same basic shape the stone is going to be different in the pattern shown when the light is turned on. Most of the stone I work with is mined here in the United States although alabaster is mined all over the world.

All night lights come with the electric cord, bulb and switch that is UL approved. The bulb is a 4 watt cool burning bulb. This is very important, I test each light with this size bulb. A larger bulb may cause damage to the stone.

These lights can also be adapted to use a tea candle by removing the electric light. They are made to be converted very easily. This is done mainly to help you supply light in case of a power failure.

	Both of these night lights are made out of Translucent Orange Alabaster mined in Utah. This is one of my favorite colors to use for lighting because of the amount of light it allow thru the stone.

This night light is made out of Colorado Grey Alabaster. It is 4" wide by 5 1/4" tall. Shown with a 4 watt cool lamp lit.

This stone is called Storm Cloud. It is a dark very dense stone in color so it does not throw a lot of light around a room, but gives a good circle of light on the ceiling allowing you to see. It is a beautiful piece when lit at night. It is 3 3/4" wide by 4 1/8 tall.

This light is made from Colorado pink alabaster. The supplier owns his own mine and always seems to find me nicely figured pieces to work with, and this one is no exception! 3 7/8" across by 4 5/8" tall.
